A bug in version 1.6.1 caused the service to malfunction without a DMX controller. I therefore fixed the problem and provide version 1.6.2 for download.
I added a few more features to the LED Ring Service. It now allows to control DMX devices in addition to the LED ring. The countdown feature for dslrBooth was enhanced too. It allows to display an alternative light effect at a configurable percentage of the countdown. The ring may be switched e.g. at 90% countdown completion to blinking.

I created drawings for the four most common LED rings I designed.
For the standard rings 20S, 20SF and the Magic Mirror rings 32F and 40F, technical drawings showing important measurements are available for download.
I extended the number of available LED Ring variants. In addition, I built a new controller that provides extended functionality.

I tried to offer a solution to use the LED ring on a MAC. Unfortunately, the MAC version of dslrBooth doesn’t support triggers that are needed to control external devices.
I therefore opened a feature request in the dslrBooth forum. You may discuss functionality and vote for the feature there.
