Save our alpine Infrastructure!

Italian hitchThe Austrian Alpine Societies call to action! A petition was set up to raise signatures for an increase of government money spent on alpine infrastructure, like mountain huts and trails. It takes an amazing amount of money to maintain huts and trails high up in the mountains.

During several years of maintaining alpine paths and trails up to an altitude of 3000m, I learned how much effort it takes to keep alpine infrastructure in a safe and working condition.

Iceland Explorer Tour 2022

Crater lake in northern Iceland

In the course of an exploration tour I led together with Harald Hois, we managed to visit remote places. We had the chance to dive at rarely visited spectacular sites and even managed to do a first-time dive in a remote northern crater lake.

Due to the guiding, I didn’t take much photos during this trip but modeled under water for Harald Hois. I will show pictures of the trip in a few weeks in my gallery.

The magazine wetnotes shows a picture of the Greenland series taken with Ortwin Khan. Too much clothes for a centerfold, but well dressed regarding dry gloves, I made it to the front page of issue #40.

The image hints to the long time test report of dry glove ring systems.

Wiesensee

After years of waiting we had the unique chance to dive this lake. It’s a sesonal lake that disappears as quickly as it appears in a shallow valley. Ideal weather conditions allowed for a spectacular dive and great pictures. Because of weight restrictions, I didn’t take pictures myself. I concentrated on modelling for Harald Hois.
