I have been to Indonesia in November 2016 for six weeks. Finally, I managed to weed out my pictures and select a few for display. I created three galleries representing the areas of Lembeh, Raja Ampat and Halmahera.

BLH-1 battery dummy coming soon!

I got already requests for BLH-1 battery dummies (for the Olympus OM-D E-M1 mark II). Therefore, I made first measurements and built a prototype. During the next few days, I will test and refine the prototype.
If the test results are promising, I will have PCBs built and launch a first series.
More about the new battery dummy in a few days.
Bodies of Sound

Finally, I made it happen. After several years of planning, sketching and research, I was able to take the photos for a new project. With the great help of Reinhard Wagner, I took a picture series at his studio in Rocksdorf on December 16th and 17th.
Now it is time to select the best shots and prepare them for printing. Thanks to the highly professional team that helped me to create great pictures. After selecting, processing, printing and framing the pictures, a series of exhibitions in Austria and Germany is planned. More about this in a couple of weeks on my blog.
Angle-finder adapter for the PEN-F
Recently, I had the chance to take measurements on the PEN-F. Good news, the VA-1 angle finder may be adapted to the viewfinder of this great camera. An adapter ist now available.

Angle-finder adapter for the OM-D E-M1 II
Olympus presented the new µFT camera flagship as a prototype. Technical details are very promising. First reviewers pointed out, that the missing accessory port doesn’t allow to use teh electronic swivel viewfinders.
There is a solution to this problem. The receptacle for teh eyepiece is very similar to the one of the predecessor. That means, that my angle finder adapter I built for the E-M1 will also fit the E-M1 II. Therefore, the optical viewfinder VA-1 can ve used with the coming camera!

Two new Galleries online!
I have put two new galleries online. They show inages taken during my recent trips.
Açores 2016: Pictures from a 14 days trip to the archipelago.
High Altitude Training 2015-16: Pictures taken during my preparations for an expedition to South America in February 2017.
BLN-1 Adapter modified for PEN-F
The battery compartment of the PEN-F differs slightly from all previous battery compartments for that type of battery. It has notches on both sides so the adapters I built up to mow won’t fit.
I changed the design of the adapter. All adapters shipped from now on will fit all cameras that use BLN-1 batteries.
USB Mouse-emulator available
Finally, I found the time to build and test a first batch of USB-Mouse emulators. It fires a left mouse click when shorting two pins on the PCB.

The device is available in variants to provide features for most of the common usecases. For more details, have a look at my USB-HID-adaptor page.
New Gallery “Zakynthos” is online
I’ve been for a week to Zakynthos for scuba diving. The pictures I took may be seen in my gallery. They show some of the caves and caverns found along the south coast of the island.
Baikal 2015 Gallery is online!
Finally, I managed to put a galery of my trip to Lake Baikal online. It shows impressions of a dive expedition, I took part in June 2015.
